Richard Stearns, President of World Vision

I love World Vision and last weekend Bill interviewed Richard Stearns. If you want to hear a fantastic story about following God's will for your life, go to willowcreek.org and click on watch messages then the April 24-25th one. You won't be disappointed if you are looking to hear a truly God-led spiritual message. Also, he has a book out which I plan to get at church next weekend. After hearing the message I'd pay full price.

If you want a nice phone, no contract and good service at a reasonable price, try Cricket at mycricket.com. Do it online for the best deals. My friend got a phone I found out was $20 cheaper by buying it online. Be careful of coverage areas though. If you want a contract but a free or cheaper great phone, go to wirefly.com. I can't justify buying phones at stores anymore. I've gotten the same ones free.

Check this out. I just entered the Edy's summer ice cream block party sweepstakes. While going to Willow Creek they had a thing about neighborhood and getting together like people used to do. I joke that I successfully avoided everyone for 15 years. Then my grandson came around and while out on walks with him I met everyone on my block and many on nearby blocks. Plus the love of my life as a bonus :-)So if I win the ice cream party it will just be like a celebration of new friendships.

I keep checking both blogs though they are just the same one at two different url's now. I love the comments. Thanks SonyaAnn! I'm gaining on Ashton now. I am up to 3 followers. 999,997 to go! I have to get mine through the blog because I am Twitter-impaired. I don't have a clue who this foreign one is though. I can't get rid of it as I think it is a spam follower.

I made a sad (and way too big!) blog button finally but don't know how to get the script to make it transferable.

Ever since I found out about mothers feeding their children "mud cookies" in Haiti I have had a different outlook on the subject. Our church packs meals every year. I opt to make a donation.
